Voyiqo (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data when you use voyiqo.com and our travel planning application.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. If you sign up via Google, we receive your name, email address and Google account ID from Google’s OAuth service.

Trip & Travel Data

We store the travel data you enter into the app — including trip names, destinations, dates, itineraries, flight and transport details, accommodation, expenses, packing lists and travel map entries. This data exists solely to provide you with the service.

Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or payment details on our servers. We only receive a subscription status confirmation from Stripe after a successful payment.

Usage Data

We may collect basic technical information such as your browser type, device type, IP address and pages visited. This is used to maintain and improve the service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate and maintain the Voyiqo application
• Authenticate your account and keep it secure
• Process subscription payments via Stripe
• Send you transactional emails such as password reset links
• Respond to your support requests
• Improve and develop new features

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secured servers. We implement industry-standard measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. Your session is authenticated using a secure token stored in your browser’s local storage.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account and travel data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your data — including trips, travel map entries and expenses — is permanently deleted immediately and cannot be recovered.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Voyiqo:

• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe’s privacy policy applies to payment data.
• Google OAuth — optional sign-in via Google account.
• OpenStreetMap / Nominatim — used for city geocoding on the travel map.
• Leaflet.js — open-source map rendering library, no data is sent to Leaflet servers.

6. Cookies

Voyiqo uses minimal browser storage. We store your authentication token and user preferences in your browser’s local storage (not cookies) to keep you logged in between sessions. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction — update your name or email address via Account Settings
• Deletion — permanently delete your account and all associated data via Account Settings → Data
• Portability — request an export of your data by contacting us

8. Children’s Privacy

Voyiqo is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of Voyiqo after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
